Well I dont have any tall grass where I fly and the only time I have broken NHP's is in a crash.

They seem to fine on the raptors as it a snug fit and no slop.

How long and roughly how many flights did it take for that to happen??

Also was that hard 3D stuff?

What about the main blades do I need to worry about them too??

thanks

The oval thing is for real

For this reason, I always glue my sleeves in real good. When I have done this, I have never had them oval, but I am not running them on a big machine either

I run them only on my Raptor 30 (other blades are prettier for my hangar queens)

But for the Raptor 30, they are the best for me because their fat airfoil seems to give better authority and better gyro response. But I suppose the blades available with the wider chord would accomplish the same thing.

I beat my Raptor 30 mercilessly, and the foam is coming out of the tips of the NHP tail blades, and the leading edge has cracked at the end on one. So I just CA it to button it up and keep flying. This pair has at least 300 flights on them

I bought a pair of NHP 600's last year , but when I inspected them at home , it was clear that the blades were not true . Looking down the trailing edge it was clear that they were warped . I returned them to the shop to exchange them for another pair , but on inspection , I found that all six sets that he had in stock had the same issue - although they were not all as bad as the original set . I got a credit note and bought some BBT's when they came in .

I also had a problem on my Raptor 50 /JR490T/8700 set up with tail wagging in fast backwards flight . Even with the gain below 40% it would still do it . After trying various servo arm lengths , gyro mounting methods etc , I took off the NHP 85mm blades and replaced them with the stock kit item and the problem went away , so I suspect that there is an imbalance in those blades somewhere.

At the end of the day , it gets dark .
