OS32SX-H
Leaflets
There are a few leaflets coming with the engine:
|
|
Note: although I have the ring version, it seems that I have not the manual for
that engine. There is a copy of that manual here,
(copied from
here).
The bearing numbers are not in the manual. The rear bearing is an 6901, or
SKF number 61901. The front bearing is a 699Z (Z indicates that it has a metal cover
on one side), SKF number 619/9-Z. I replaced the front bearing with a 2Z version
(metal cover on both sides), as it seemed to me that this front bearing does not use engine
oil for cooling, but the open inner side did seem to pick up metal particles coming from the
engine. Both bearings are from the 6900 series, more specs are here
(copied from here).
Price indication about $9 (fl. 25.00) each.
I took the (piston-) ringed version of this engine, as I heard that
they live longer, although the power may be slightly less.
A big, folded paper shows all the engines that OS is manufacturing.
They also show some pipes, flywheels, filters etc.
What I found interesting of this leaflet is that they sell
a recoil starter conversion unit!
I asked my reseller before I bought my OS about this recoil starter,
but he told me that those were only sold as a package with the
Horibo shuttle helicopter, and not separately. Again, it shows
nonsense that those resellers tell you ... :.-(
I really would have liked to have such a recoil starter in my raptor.
This part of the big folder shows you the available OS heli engines,
so that you dont have to believe those dumb resellers!
The full sheet is available on the website of
ty hoeffer
BTW anyone who knows why my engine, the SX-H, is not on this sheet?
Exploded view of a
Webra
engine, the OS engine is very similar.
On my tips page you can see photos from the inside of the engine.
